MOM you have thread on your butt!

OK…so I just happened to stop sewing and went straight out the door for supper!

With kids and husband in tow we decided to stop at Burger King,

All is good until my oldest (12) blurts out ” MOM you have thread on your butt and on your shirt AND in your hair!!!”)

So now of course everyone has to turn around and look at my butt!! gee thanks son!

If I was not selfconscious before, I am now!

And as I type I notice that I have another reminder to check myself after leaving my sewing room, this one is hanging off my shoulder!…little buggers…;)

Off to dream land…

Now that my sister in laws wedding is over I think I can relax for a bit…just a bit!

which brings me to these wonderful sleep masks I have been wanting to take a try at.

These are oh so easy and the reward speaks for it’s self…SLEEP!!

I had such a wonderful nap today I think if it were not for my kids coming into my room whining about how STARVING they were I would of slept all day!…darn kid’s having to eat!…;)

These come highly recommended by myself!!

I love my beauty sleep!!

OH so busy!!

I have been sooo busy this past week that I am finding it hard to take out just a few minutes to write a post…ugghhh.

The boys are at camp right now so I have freed up some time to do some….CLEANING!! yuck!

And to let you know a cool thing I found surfing the net the other day.

YoYo’s! (the fabric kind)…;)

Is this not the cutest!

I think I am going to start on my own project that uses these fabric yoyo’s.

Just think of all the cool toys you could make!!

But I must say..this is not something new..in-fact this has been around for a LONG time!

It’s just new to me and I cant wait to get started!

Tina

And the winner is….

Cindi  |  July 19, 2008 at 5:38 am

Your “Bella Flower’s Family Shop” is wonderful! The round washcloths are a great idea. The bib/washcloth sets are also very nice. The booties are cute and very well made and I would like to see booties that match/coordinate with the bibs-burp cloths and washcloths. Your prices are very reasonable for well made handmade baby items. Thanks, Cindi

Thanks goes out to everyone who has left a comment!!

Neglect

OK…so I have been neglecting this whole blogging thing…but only for a good reason!

I am putting together a silent auction prize for my sister in laws social, and am really proud of what I have made…;)

So far I have made a rag quilt…my first one! and it came out very pretty, in fact it was very easy to make,I think I will be making more in the near future.

I also added to the prize a fabric covered picture frame that I covered this morning..I am having issues giving it up…lol

I will add pictures as soon as it’s done.

Now back to the giveaway!!… the deadline for submissions is midnight Sunday..or when ever I wake up in the morning on Monday..lol!

I am very pleased so far with the comments people have been leaving, I will be using some suggestions to better my store…so thank you!

off to finish the prize package!

Tina

EDIT:Fabric,Contest,prize,Best CRITIQUE!

What pretty fabric I received in the mail today!

I have been getting fabric from the fabricshoppe on Etsy lately and have always been soo happy to open up the package.

I cant wait to be able to turn this pretty fabric into something wonderful.

Please take a moment out and go to the Fabricshoppe site to see all the wonderful fabric!

Since I am in such a good mood tonight I feel like giving away a little prize..

(this fabric was NOT purchased from the Fabricshoppe)

All you have to do is:

1) live in Canada or USA

2) Go to bellaflower and tell me what you like and dont like at my shop (BE nice)…lol

3) I will pick the best critique that will win the prize.

Easy…I think so!

So lets get started leaving comments!

So much for finding anything.

Ok,so I am back from my walk empty handed…not very happy.

I look forward to my daily walks to the thrift store, but to leave with nothing is kinda sad…lol.

So just what to I buy you ask? well just about anything I can find that I am able to use in my home or crafts.

To be able to buy something second hand at a fraction of the retail price makes me jump for joy!

Plus it is so eco, so much good stuff gets tossed out in the garbage when there is still plenty of life left in it!

Well thats all for now…back to creating items for my shop!

Tina
